Sprint 10 Cutting Scope 10/28/2018-11/6/2018
Lets talk: Meetings!
Meetings:
10/30 A quick discord meeting to check on updates and how hings were going.

11/2 Worked with the artist implementing VFX that they made. Also did some troubleshooting for a new version of Sourcetree. We opted to switch to Git Kraken since they have an actual working version of their application.

11/4 A team meeting to get ready for QA and get caught up on how everyone is doing and feeling. Plenty of updates were done and the game is starting to completely come together.

11/5 presentation prep for update and QA feedback viewing.

Lets Talk: What I did!
Cuts: After a ton of work on networking it was decided that it was to be cut in favor of split screen gameplay. Split screen proves our point and it is far easier to implement in a short period of time.

Full Gameplay Loop: Got a full and complete start to finish game loop with round implementation. also added UI (heavy programmer art) in to demonstrate ability cool downs and game states.

QA Prep: integrated the Designer, Artist and my own work into a full QA ready build. and made sure there were minimal bugs (unknown) before QA.

Lets Talk: The Cut and Refocusing.
Networking is taking way too long, and I decided to end that rout. It was a hard decision but it allows me to clean up the game. I have fixed tons of bugs, implemented a quick first pass at the UI and added the Artist's VFX.

I am also better able to support and quickly implement my team's updates and it is good for the team as a whole.

Lets Talk: Moving Forward.
Since I have decided to refocus I am focusing on creating and refining systems for my Designer and implementing the Artist's assets and animations.
UI, sound, and animations are my primary concern next week with a eye on bugs and polish.
Phrase of the Week!
Cut my life into pieces...
