Senior Year Blog
The First Sprint 8/28/2018 - 9/04/2018
This is the start of my first Development blog, It is relatively small as the first week is an idea creation and planning phase. Hopefully, by the end of this blog you, and I will have learned something about how the game creation process works, and how to improve upon it further.
Time for the concepts phase, I really liked the team dynamic for this portion. We all have passion, drive, and a willingness to cooperate.
We started with four ideas and each one of us researched a different game. We combined two of our concepts to make a grand total of three primary ideas.
We are currently bouncing ideas back and forth to develop concept statements and game names.
My secondary research goal is networking and I went to Prof. Dan who is teaching my networking class for direction. While I am still nowhere near comfortable with networking yet, the first lab he had us do has the cogs in my head turning.
Last Rights-MS
Visualizer-LLs
As stated in my final post of Last Rights, the game was cut and I learned much from it. I was offered a lead programming role on one of the teams who made it through, Little Lizard Studios, and their game Visualizer, I look forward to working on this and discussing about it weekly with you.
