Sprint 1 Acclimating to the New Team and Clean-Up
Lets talk: The State of!
The state of will talk about the current state of the game at the start of the sprint, and roadblocks and issues for the week.

Visualizer is a technically complex game revolving around its main mechanics of rhythm based shooting and AI. While the general structure of the code is fine, their are a lot of moments where a coding standard isn't followed, and more complex things like the rhythm beat tracking or AI isn't done correctly. It is pretty good though, considering they didn't have any dedicated programmers to start off with.

Issues that will need to be addressed are existing bugs and unnecessary code, as well as establishing the version of Unity the game will be made in as well as proper folder structure in the Unity Assets folder. The final main issue will be repo management as the team size is 13 people there will have to be clear how branches will work and how to maintain a semblance of order.

Lets talk: Whats Been Done!
Whats Been Done will talk about what has been completed so far in the sprint as the submission time for the blog posts is a bit weird.

The team planning session was a success and we made strike teams focusing on different aspects of the game to prepare the game for greenlight. Their is a level, weapons, enemy, sound, art/effects, and refactoring team. I am part of the refactoring and enemy team, but for now my main goal was with refactoring. Cleaning up the code base as discussed in The State of, as well as creating a proper repo pipe line was don in my refactoring meeting so hopefully we will have increased everyone else's productivity.
Lets talk: ToDo!
I think this one is a bit self explanatory :).

My main goal for the rest of the sprint is to get a concrete document for repo managment of pulling, pushing, and committing, which branches to use and not use etc. My second goal is to create a comprehensive coding standard so the code is consistent and readable. Finally, if i have time I will start to go through and fix up the AI (Which is in dire straights).
